Business Hours & Pricing
Quick Answer - 30 Seconds
To set your hours: Account → General → Business Hours → tap any day or time to edit → Save.
Your schedule reads like a few plain sentences. Days that share the same hours are grouped together, so you usually only edit two or three lines.
What This Page Actually Controls
This sets pricing, not availability
The time slots customers can book come from your field service management (FSM) system — OnePath shows whatever availability your FSM offers and never hides or adds slots based on this page.
What you set here does two things:
- Pricing — for each slot a customer picks, OnePath checks that date's regular hours to decide whether to quote your regular fee or your after-hours fee.
- Assistant context — your hours are shared with the AI assistant so it can talk about your schedule accurately.
So setting hours here will not stop a customer from booking 7 PM or a Sunday if your FSM has a slot then — it decides what that slot costs.
Where to Find This
Location: Account → General → Business Hours

Regular Hours vs After-Hours (how the fee is chosen)
For any booking, OnePath looks only at that date's regular hours:
| When the slot starts… | Fee quoted |
|---|---|
| Inside the day's regular hours | Your regular fee |
| Outside regular hours — the after-hours band, before they start, after they end, a day with regular pricing off, or a closed day/holiday | Your after-hours fee |
- Business hours is your wider operating window. Regular hours must sit inside it, and the whole schedule is what the assistant sees. It doesn't block or change availability on its own.
- Regular hours is the window priced at your normal rate. Everything else is after-hours.
No after-hours pricing? Keep it simple.
If you don't charge differently after hours, leave regular hours equal to business hours. Then every booking is your regular fee.
How to Edit a Day
Everything in the sentence is tappable:
- Tap a green/grey pill (
open/not working) to mark those days open or closed in your schedule. - Tap a time (e.g.
8:00 AM) to type a new time, or use the AM/PM toggle. Arrow keys nudge by 15 minutes. - Tap
regular pricingto turn the regular-hours window on or off. When it's off, every booking that day is priced at the after-hours rate (great for emergency-only Saturdays).
If you set something invalid (for example regular hours wider than business hours), an inline message appears and the Save button waits until you fix it.
Grouping Days
Days that share identical hours are grouped into one sentence (e.g. Weekdays). Tap the day pill to open the picker and choose exactly which days share those hours.

- Check or uncheck a day to move it in or out of the group.
- Use the Weekdays / Weekend / All shortcuts for the common cases.
- Each day shows its current state on the right (
open 8 AM–9 PM,closed, …).
When a day's hours differ from the rest, it simply becomes its own sentence — so a typical setup ends up as something like Weekdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Closed Days
Marking a day not working doesn't remove its slots — your FSM still controls what's bookable. It means a booking that lands on that day is priced at your after-hours fee, and the assistant knows that day is outside your normal hours.
Holidays & Off-Days
Holidays and one-off special dates override the weekly schedule's pricing for a single calendar date.

- Pre-fill US federal holidays adds the upcoming holidays as not-working in one click.
- + Custom date adds your own one-off date.
- Suggested holidays lets you add individual holidays from the list.
Each date is a chip you can toggle Open / Closed, give its own hours, or remove (×). A date left Closed means bookings that day are quoted at the after-hours fee (the slots themselves still come from your FSM).
Give one holiday different hours
Holidays with the same setting are grouped together. To give a single date its own hours (for example, half-day regular hours on Christmas Eve while the rest stay closed), use the ✎ edit button on its chip to pull it out of the group — then set its hours independently.
Only today and the future
Past holidays carry no value, so the suggestions list only offers today's and upcoming dates, and overrides older than two weeks are cleaned up automatically. You never need to delete last year's holidays by hand.
What Your Customers See
- The slots offered come from your FSM and are unchanged by this page.
- A slot inside that date's regular hours is quoted at your regular fee.
- Every other slot — after-hours, before/after your regular window, regular pricing off, or a closed day/holiday — is quoted at your after-hours fee.
This is consistent everywhere a customer can book — the web scheduler, SMS, voice, and the assistant — so the price always matches the time they pick.
Send after-hours jobs somewhere specific?
You can also route after-hours bookings to a dedicated job type in your FSM — see After-Hours Job Type. The same regular-vs-after-hours rule on this page decides which jobs get it.
Common Setups
| You want… | How to set it |
|---|---|
| Normal price all day, no after-hours | Leave regular hours = business hours on each day |
| Regular price 8–5, higher rate in the evenings | Business 8 AM–9 PM, regular 8 AM–5 PM — evening bookings are after-hours |
| Emergency-only Saturday (everything priced after-hours) | Open Saturday, turn regular pricing off |
| A day or holiday priced entirely after-hours | Mark the day not working, or add the date in Holidays & off-days as Closed |
