Phone Not Working
Call Not Working?
Try these in order:
- Click Allow when browser asks for microphone
- Refresh the page (F5)
- Try a different browser (Chrome works best)
Still broken? Use text or email instead, then call support.
Problem: Call Won't Start
You click Call but nothing happens.
Fix 1: Allow Microphone
Your browser needs microphone permission.
- Look for a popup asking for microphone access
- Click Allow
- If no popup, click the lock/camera icon in the address bar
- Find microphone settings and allow
Fix 2: Refresh the Page
Press F5 (or Cmd+R on Mac) and try again.
Fix 3: Try Chrome
Chrome works best with HumanForce. If you're using another browser:
- Open Chrome
- Go to HumanForce
- Log in and try calling
Problem: Call Drops Immediately
Call connects but drops after a few seconds.

| Customer declined | Try calling again |
| Invalid number | Try text or email |
| Network issue | Wait a moment, try again |
Problem: Customer Can't Hear Me
- Check microphone is not muted - Look for mute button in call interface
- Check correct microphone selected - Browser may be using wrong mic
- Test your mic - Record yourself in another app to verify it works
- Try headset - Plug in a headset and try again
Problem: I Can't Hear Customer
- Check your volume - Is it turned up?
- Check speakers/headset - Are they connected?
- Check browser volume - Some browsers have separate volume controls
- Refresh and try again
Problem: Audio Quality is Bad
- ✅ Use a headset - Much better than laptop speakers
- ✅ Close other tabs - Video streaming uses bandwidth
- ✅ Move closer to router - Stronger WiFi signal
- ✅ Use wired connection - If possible, ethernet is more stable
Quick Workaround
If calls just won't work:
- Send a text message to the customer instead
- Send an email with your info
- Add a note explaining the technical issue
- Call support to report the problem
Don't let a technical issue stop you from helping the customer!
When to Call Support
Call support (555-1234) if:
- Calls haven't worked all day
- Multiple agents have the same issue
- You've tried everything above
- You get an error message
Tell them:
- What you tried
- What browser you're using
- Any error messages you see
