Common Error Messages

"Task Already Claimed by Another Agent"

What it means: Someone else got the task before you.

What to do:

  • Nothing - this is normal
  • You'll be redirected automatically
  • Claim another task

"Cannot Access Task - Unauthorized"

What it means: You don't have permission for this task.

Possible causes:

  • Task assigned to different agent
  • Session expired
  • Task already completed

What to do:

  1. Refresh the page
  2. Log out and back in
  3. If still not working → Contact support

"Task Not Found"

What it means: The task doesn't exist anymore.

Possible causes:

  • Task was deleted
  • Invalid task ID in URL
  • Task from old system

What to do:

  • Request a new task from Five9
  • Don't worry - just move on to next task

"Token Expired or Invalid"

What it means: Your claim link is too old.

Note: Tokens expire after 15 minutes.

What to do:

  1. Check email timestamp
  2. Request new notification from Five9
  3. Contact support for manual task assignment

"Cannot Send Message to This Contact"

What it means: RCS message can't be delivered.

Possible causes:

  • Contact is a landline (not mobile)
  • Customer phone deactivated
  • System issue

What to do:

  1. Try calling instead
  2. Try email if available
  3. Ask customer for alternative number

"Not Authorized"

What it means: You don't have permission for this feature.

What to do:

  1. Verify you're logged in
  2. Refresh the page
  3. Log out and back in
  4. Contact admin if role is wrong

When Errors Keep Happening

If the same error keeps appearing:

  1. Clear browser cache

    • Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+Delete (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+Delete (Mac)
    • Select "Cached images and files"
    • Clear and reload
  2. Try different browser

    • Chrome, Firefox, or Edge recommended
    • Safari may have issues
  3. Check your internet

    • Is it stable?
    • Try wired instead of WiFi
  4. Contact support with details about the error
