Timeout Warning Appeared
Warning on Your Screen Right Now?
Click "Continue Working" - that's it!
You have 30 seconds to click before you lose the task.
Why Did This Happen?
The system didn't detect any activity for 2 minutes.
Activity means:
- Mouse movement
- Clicking
- Typing
- Scrolling
If you were reading or thinking, the system doesn't know that.
What Happens If You Don't Click?
After 30 seconds:
- Task is taken away from you
- It goes back to the queue
- Another agent can claim it
- You'll need to start over if you want it back
How to Prevent This
While Working
- Move your mouse every minute (even just a wiggle)
- Type notes as you work
- Click around - scroll, check tabs, etc.
While Waiting for Something
If you need to wait (customer checking something, looking up info):
- Click "Waiting for Customer Response" if customer will call back
- Or just wiggle your mouse every minute while you wait
During Phone Calls
Good news: If you're on an active call in HumanForce, you're protected. The warning won't appear during calls.
But after the call ends, the timer starts again - so add your notes right away.
Quick Tips
- ✅ Wiggle mouse every minute - Simple habit that prevents timeouts
- ✅ Type notes as you go - Counts as activity
- ✅ Use "Waiting for Response" - If customer needs to call back
- ✅ Don't panic - You have 30 seconds to click, that's plenty of time
